Nohr-Con is a privately owned and independent Danish-based company. We are specialized course and conference organizers and organize hundreds of courses, conferences and study tours a year in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Germany.
10 years of international experience
Nohr-Con was started on 1 February 2002 in Copenhagen by CEO Jesper Nøhr Kjærsig and thus has over 10 years of experience in specialized, professional events - primarily in two segments, which are often closely linked though: Public Procurement and Construction.
Nohr-Con expanded rapidly to the rest of Scandinavia and today it has consolidated its position as market leader for courses on public procurement and construction and conferences on buildings of the future. We still have our base in Copenhagen, but seek experience and inspiration from around the world and participate in events all over Europe to keep updated on the latest knowledge and trends.
Qualifying courses
We organize a wide range of courses on public procurement and construction, which usually goes in depth with specific topics or introduce new issues. In short, we transform concrete and legal issues into practical, useful knowledge you can use in your everyday life.
In the jubilee year, Nohr-Con launched certification programs in public procurement and construction law to strengthen the industry's level of competence in the areas further. Certification is an advantage for both employee and employer. As an employee you get proof of professional competence, and as an employer you can measure employees' professional skills and demonstrate the high academic level towards customers and partners.
Conferences and study tours of high quality
We also organize conferences and study tours on current issues within the two segments Public Procurement and Construction - especially about the future construction of health buildings, school buildings and office buildings, and about the latest trends and regulations in public procurement.
At conferences on construction and urban development, we often start with warm days with field trips to relevant and interesting places to visit, where participants themselves can get an insight into the solutions chosen for new buildings and interact with other participants in the same industry in a less formal environment.
Cooperating only with specialists
We strive to find the best Danish and international experts to communicate the topics on our courses and conferences, and we collaborate with a number of competent teachers and lecturers who are good at communicating knowledge about complex subjects in an understandable way that can be used in practice afterwards.
We develop our own courses and conferences in cooperation with lawyers and experts in the construction and public procurement industry, and therefore function independently of exogenous economic and political interests.
The target group for Nohr-Con's events
The target audience consists of practitioners in both public and private sectors. We are here to help those who work with practical issues within such areas as the building sector or with public procurement, but would like to be updated or introduced to more professional or legal matters.
In Nohr-Con is it very important for us to give you a good and productive day with a course of high quality and we take pride in the fact that the course material is useful - not just on the course day but also when you get back to work. We improve our events regularly, based on the feedback we receive from our many participants in order to keep the quality as high as possible.
More than just course and conference organizers
Over the past few years, Nohr-Con has moved more into the direction of being a knowledge center for the public procurement and construction industry instead of merely being course and conference organizers. Thus you can on our website keep yourself updated on the latest rulings and laws within public procurement and construction, find guidelines and articles to guide you through the rules and see the latest public tenders to name just some of the content.
As a knowledge center Nohr-Con's aim is to increase knowledge sharing in the area, by publishing an annual report of the expenditures in the construction area of the municipalities, by publishing self-produced videos about interesting construction projects, by issuing seven complimentary newsletters with relevant news and by facilitating forums for knowledge sharing on the social media, LinkedIn and Facebook.
